An exciting opportunity has arisen for a number of Project Managers to join the Team in Derby or Bristol. This is a Delivery Role reporting to the VP M&A and Programme Delivery.
This role is the Project based role operating across the entire domain portfolio for delivery. You will be working across Digital & IT and will be required to effectively engage with the other delivery teams as required. As a Project Manager, you will be required to work with Ecosystem Partners and drive effective engagement to deliver quality outcomes on time and to cost whilst measuring and reporting project progress, risk and issues in line with the cadence defined by PMO (Portfolio Management Office).
What You Will Be DoingAs a Project Manager, you will be accountable for the creation and agreement of the delivery plan for Enterprise projects in addition to:
The quality assurance and sign off of any and all 3rd party Statements of Work
The establishment of the delivery framework for delivery; scheme, PO, PPMO Gate review etc.
The time, cost and quality deliverables for projects
Managing commitments and escalations both internally and with external providers
Ensure risk and issue processes are upheld and are actioned
Providing the necessary level of reporting and financial management as required by PPMO
Ensures that project and quality plans are prepared and provides regular reports to stakeholders, steering reviews / governance
Providing portfolio level oversight for finance and supplier performance
Assuring that the plan focusses on the priorities of the business and is aligned with D&I strategy
Delivering the more strategic, largeâscale Programs where required
Developing and improving the systems and processes for Enterprise Systems delivery
Preferred Requirements
Extensive project, delivery experience in a complex, fast paced environment
You will be able to demonstrate deep understanding of the tools and techniques for effective program, resource and risk management
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence
You will be commercially astute and able to effectively craft, agree and deliver against contract
You will have an analytical mind and will be able to manage complex scenarios while being able to communicate effectively at the right level across the organisation
You will be delivery focussed, confident and able to make and stand by decisions
Have experience of working in a project and program delivery focused environment
Be an excellent communicator at all levels of the business. Able to convert ideas into a structured narrative for the building and execution of a plan
Be able to build and nurture a network internally and with 3rd parties to effectively deliver requirements
Have a proven record of project delivery with an expert understanding of project and program delivery tools, techniques and governance processes
