Job Description Job Title: Probabilistic Safety Assessment Engineer Working Pattern: Full Time Working location: Raynesway, Derby /Hybrid We have an exciting opportunity for a Probabilistic Safety Assessment Engineer to join our team at Rolls-Royce, Derby. As part of this exciting opportunity, you will be working on probabilistic safety assessment of the Nuclear Steam Raising Plant (NSRP) used across the UK\βs Submarine Programme comprising platforms in-service, platforms in construction and the next generation in design. Naturally, individual product programmes are at different stages of design and safety case maturity offering a range of opportunities and challenges but all part of a national endeavor vital to the security of the nation. This role also covers the full probabilistic safety assessment process of hazard identification, screening and assessment, component and human reliability assessment, determining initiating event frequencies, modelling of plant through fault trees as well as interpreting and reporting on model results to inform design and substantiation. Hence, working across all systems and functions involved in the design and substantiation of NSRP. Why Rolls-Royce?
