Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Aerospace Procurement Operations Support team as an Operations Support Manager to resolve critical issues and mitigate risk in our supply chain.
You will establish sustainable, long‑term supply chains, improving Quality, Cost & Delivery, providing a competitive edge for Rolls‑Royce, our customers, and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Support engagements with the supply chain from initial analytics through engagement to exit and handover back to the Supplier Management Team.
- Drive the identification, development and implementation of robust supply chain processes and tools to prevent future risks of failure.
- Report to the Head of Operations Support and drive performance with supply chain.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of operational excellence with exemplary communication and influencing skills.
- Experience in operations (manufacturing), planning or supply chain management.
- Effective problem solver with knowledge and experience of using lean tools and techniques to deliver improvements and create value.
- Ability to build relationships and drive output, and lead cross‑functional teams to drive sustainable change and meet quality and delivery improvements across the supply chain.
- Tenacity, drive and flexibility; ability to work in challenging environments and lead significant improvement projects.
- Strong team player, able to lead cross‑functional teams and drive sustainable change to meet quality and delivery improvements across the supply chain.
