An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nuclear Core Stress Engineer to join Rolls-Royce Submarines in Derby

What you will be doing:
You will be supporting manufacture of current designs, advising improvements to manufacturing processes, substantiating new designs, and supporting ongoing justifications for in-service product. Successful candidates will cover several of the following skills, or have specialist knowledge within one area:
- Structural analysis principles.
- Finite Element Analysis (eg. Abaqus).
- Structural Assessments (eg. fatigue analysis and fracture mechanics).
- Data manipulation, modelling and automation.
- Materials behaviours and failure modes.
