The Service Analysis (SA) & Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) department is committed to ensuring operational excellence, product reliability, and cost-effective lifecycle management. Accountability spans across safety, reliability, fleet performance, and cost optimization, ensuring that all products and services meet the highest standards of safety, quality, airworthiness (Part 21 & Part 145), and performance throughout their lifecycle.

You will lead, develop and engage assigned Engineering personnel to meet current and future business requirements. When needed you will deploy assigned staff to approved business activities/technical programmes. Additionally, you will own and support the definition of the appropriate section of the Engineering strategy, ensuring that world class capability is defined, developed and effectively utilised to provide products and services that satisfy business requirements.
Responsibilities- Provide Business level Capability and Strategy aligning the businesses.
- Proactively provide capability leadership to the Engineering resource group and ensure robust deployment and maintenance of capability throughout its lifecycle.
- Leveraging data for decision-making, apply advanced analytical methods, and lead cross-functional collaboration, to ensure the highest standards of safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify, Lead and integrate Digital and AI solutions to enhance business outcomes.
- Create and maintain strategic and/or tactical resource plans, in line with the Do/Buy Strategy, to meet the overall delivery commitments.
- Ensure that sufficient resource is available to meet current and future business needs and budgets. Ensure integration with partners and other resource groups on people and resource issues.
- Own the overall capability strategy and associated roadmap, and ensure resources necessary to deliver the roadmap.
- Help define, develop and maintain the capabilities taxonomy with the Engineering for Services Group Capability to ensure sufficient Specialist and SMEs capability exists to support the business and strategic workforce plan.
- Ensure staff are suitably qualified and experienced and that the required skills are sustainable for the future through: multi-skilling, staff rotation, competency framework tools including training and professional networks and standards.
- Ensure effective knowledge management, in-line with company KiD policy, through the use of knowledge capture, lessons learnt, and best practice guides for the resource group, and encourage knowledge sharing within the group and beyond.
- Lead and drive efficiency and quality through implementing continuous improvement and operational best practice within the field of work.
- Where appropriate, own the relationship between engineering, external customers, partners, legal and regulatory authorities and the supply chain and ensure it is effectively managed and integrated on behalf of the capability group.
- Apply Health, Safety and the Environment policy including a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Apply product Safety process including a commitment to continuous improvement and safety assurance.
- Ensure compliance to all HS&E safety requirements for delivered engineering capability.
