In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on manufacturing assets and all associated production equipment located in production facilities.

What You Will Be Doing
- You will analyse equipment data to inform and implement the most effective approach towards maintenance.
- Read and interpret machinery and component drawings, circuit/logic diagrams & schematics, maintenance manuals, and parts catalogues to enable maintenance and diagnostics.
- Work alongside/support equipment OEM engineers as required
- Consistently perform asset maintenance activities in order to ensure that equipment and facilities are safe and reliable to a high performance standard. Utilising precision diagnostic instruments during maintenance.
- Utilise problem solving skills (such as Root cause analysis) and ability to make sound recommendations based on judgement, training and previous experience.
Basic And Preferred Qualifications
- Have a time-served engineering apprenticeship in a multi-skilled, electrical/electronic or mechanical engineering discipline and NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience and qualifications.
- Be a maintenance professional with high standards of electrical and mechanical knowledge with experience of fault diagnosis and rectification, carrying out planned maintenance activities and implementing improvements.
- Have experience of working on electro-mechanical equipment, including knowledge of fault finding, diagnostics, interrogation and rectification of PLC's, multi-axes CNC machine tools and control systems.
- Collaboration, flexibility and adaptability are key to meeting the ever-changing business requirements. A proactive thinker, with a positive attitude and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels is key.
- Have a good level of computer literacy, training for specific systems will be provided.
