We are looking for an experienced Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Building Services Engineer to join the Infrastructure Design Authority to act as the Intelligent Customer and SME for all matters relating to Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Building Services/Utilities.

What you will be doing
With this exciting opportunity you will be carrying out following key tasks:

Ensure the design intent for HVAC and Building Services Infrastructure is maintained throughout the asset’s lifecycle.

Ensure appropriate and up-to-date design standards are in place (and being followed) for the HVAC and Building Services Infrastructure operated by RRSL.
-
Provide design, modification and build assurance to the appropriate Rolls-Royce Design Authorities.
-
Assure the safe operation, inspection and maintenance of the HVAC and Building Services infrastructure operated by RRSL.

Be responsible for assuring and authorising significant changes to infrastructure operated by RRSL.
Who we’re looking for
To be successful in this role you will need to be:
-
Degree qualified Chartered Engineer holding registration with an appropriate professional body, e.g. Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE).

Experienced in the design, construction, and operation of regulated and conventional infrastructure within the UK.

Familiar with the latest related Euro Codes, British Standards, Codes of Practice and Guidance Documents.

Familiar with the Nuclear sector and its working practices is desirable.

Capable of taking a risk-based pragmatic view and have good technical skills including problem solving and decision making.
