What you will be doing Designing and developing production areas and manufacturing cells.Identifying factory and cell requirements and creating concepts for review and implementation.Collaborating with process specialists and cross-functional teams to ensure safe, efficient, and effective workspaces.Specifying manufacturing equipment, estimating costs, and planning infrastructure and maintenance. Proven experience in designing, optimising, and validating manufacturing and operations workspaces.Strong knowledge of production planning, value streams, human factors, and risk assessment in manufacturing environments.Demonstrated experience in specifying, acquiring, installing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment, including full project lifecycle management (technical delivery, schedule, cost, and risk).Skilled in managing technical requirements, including elicitation, documentation, validation, and change control.Effective communicator across business functions and with leadership, capable of conveying technical decisions, risks, and project status.Proficient in 3D modelling tools within PLM environments (e.g. Siemens NX/Line Designer, Process Simulate: Human, Autodesk).Knowledge of value stream optimisation using analytical tools, including Discrete Event Simulation (experience with Siemens Plant Simulation is advantageous).
