In this context, we’re looking for an Executive Assistant to support our Programme Director and wider directorate.

This is a highly visible role, working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations while enabling leaders to focus on strategic priorities and organisational impact.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating complex diaries, meetings and travel arrangements across multiple stakeholders
  • Preparing high‑quality documents, presentations and correspondence to support senior leaders
  • Managing expenses, purchase orders and administrative processes efficiently and accurately
  • Supporting events and collaborating with Executive Assistants across the organisation to ensure alignment
  • What you’ll bring
  • A solid foundation in administration (e. g. GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent)
  • Relevant experience supporting senior leaders
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and changing demands effectively
  • A high level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
  • Confidence using business systems and tools, and collaborating across teams to deliver outcomes
  • Obtaining Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance
  • Satisfactory completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Satisfactory completion of a basic financial probity check

  • Salary & Benefits
  • Salary: £30,000.00 - £39,400.00 (dependent on skills, values, and knowledge)
