Position Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Integration Subject Matter Expert. The Integration Subject Matter Expert (SME) is responsible for designing, guiding and governing system and data integrations across enterprise platforms. This role provides deep technical and functional expertise in integration patterns, middleware, APIs and data exchange to ensure scalable, secure and reliable connectivity between applications and data platforms.
What you will be doing:
- Integration Strategy & Architecture
- Implement integrations in accordance with the Enterprise Integration strategy.
- Design end-to-end process integrations using standard integration patterns and policies.
- Design and build scalable data integration pipelines across multiple platforms.
- Technical Leadership
- Provide hands-on guidance to development teams and data engineers.
- Review and approve integration designs and specifications.
- Troubleshoot complex integration issues.
- Integration Management
- Ensure data consistency and transformation accuracy.
- Ensure integration compliance with security, privacy and regulatory requirements.
- Support architecture reviews.
Position Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in enterprise integration or middleware ideally in a complex, highly regulated organisation.
- Building reusable and scalable integration solutions that adhere to standard patterns and policies.
- Experience with integration platforms (SAP PI, SAP BTP-CI, Datasphere, Boomi, Informatica, Azure Data Factory, eQube).
- Strong knowledge of APIs, REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, ETL/ELT.
- Experience with messaging and event-driven architectures.
