- Govern the planning cycle including change control, ensuring disciplined execution, compliance, and alignment to programme and contractual requirements.
- Provide clear, actionable insight into schedule performance, risk, and forecast, enabling effective decision-making, issue resolution, and stakeholder alignment at all levels.
- Drive continuous improvement of planning capability and outcomes, balancing short-term delivery (perform) with longer-term maturity, efficiency, and resilience of the scheduling function (transform).
Position requirements:
- Experience working within project or programme environments, with accountability for planning against quality, time, cost, and performance objectives.
- Proven experience with Integrated Master Schedules and an understanding of schedule performance, forecasting, and earned value or equivalent control methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence internal teams, partners, and customers across organisational and geographical boundaries.
- Sound working knowledge of planning processes, data, and scheduling tools, with the credibility to operate as a trusted advisor to project and planning practitioners.

Preferred qualifications:
- Professional membership of, or progress toward membership of, a recognised project management body (e.g. APM, PMI).
- Experience contributing to or delivering multiple stages of a project lifecycle, with exposure to change control and governance in a regulated environment.
- Exposure to adjacent disciplines such as commercial, procurement, engineering management, or finance, supporting effective integration across the programme.
- Experience working with national or international partners and customers within complex programme or matrix organisations.
