The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
As a structural integrity engineer, you will be engaging primarily in structural integrity assessments including primary strength, fatigue, fatigue crack growth and fracture assessments, in accordance with ASME III and R6 defect tolerance assessment code. You will be supporting a wide range of programmes from in-service support, new build, and future programmes. You will also be building and maintaining Finite Element Analyses (FEA) models to extract stresses to be used in the justification of the components.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural integrity assessments including primary strength, fatigue, fatigue crack growth and fracture assessments in accordance with ASME III and R6 defect tolerance codes.
- Support a wide range of programmes from in-service support to new build and future programmes.
- Build and maintain Finite Element Analyses (FEA) models to extract stresses for component justification.
