\\n\\nAt Rolls-Royce we are proud to be a business that has truly helped to shape the modern world and are committed to always being a force for progress; powering, protecting and connecting people everywhere.\\n\\nBy joining Rolls-Royce, you'll have the opportunity to work on world-class solutions, supported by a culture that believes individuality is our greatest strength, and all perspectives, experiences and backgrounds help us innovate and enable our high-performance culture.\\n\\nWhat you will be doing:\\n\\nAs the Electrical Design Engineer you will be involved with incredibly fast paced projects with delivery dates which are very challenging.Undertake or support all design tasks from scoping and blank page design to authoring substantiation and safety documentation and supporting procurement through the manufacture, test and supply of components\\n\\nProduction of technical reports/operating manuals etc. to a high standard.\\n\\nResponsible for delivery to cost, specification and programme.\\n\\nWork closely with the project engineer and multi-discipline teams to develop detailed plans and estimates to meet business objectives.\\n\\nWho we're looking for:\\n\\nElectrical Design experience from scoping to delivery in a complex manufacturing or engineering environment is essential for this role so applicants with experience in Defence, Nuclear, Oil and Gas, Capital Equipment, Machine Manufacturers, Process Plant (Chemical ,Drinks, Refinery ), Rail or Aerospace would provide a good match to this role\\nElectrical Design experience with bespoke safety critical products \\n\\nProject or Technical Co-ordinator experience in a service / engineering or manufacturing environment.\\n\\nElectrical controls and instrumentation design experience, and an understanding of electrical design principles.\\n\\nA good understanding of a design process from scoping to delivery.\\n\\nMust have a degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent level of continuous professional development and experience.\\n\\nIdeally have experience of design work related to a submarine NSRP.\\n\\nFor more than 60 years Rolls-Royce Submarines has designed, supplied and supported the nuclear propulsion plant, providing power for all UK Royal Navy nuclear submarines. \\n\\n To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines an individual must hold a Security Check clearance.
