What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Head of Logistics, this role will be responsible for leading and developing logistics operations to ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective delivery of services across Manufacturing
Operations.
The role drives operational excellence through strong program management, lean and continuous improvement (Operations Production System), and cost focus while ensuring customer and business requirements are consistently achieved. This role will require strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work cross-functionally and the professional credibility to influence at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead logistics-related programs and strategic initiatives from concept through implementation.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects involving operations, manufacturing, procurement, engineering, and suppliers.
- Manage timelines, risks, resources, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful project delivery.
- Support new product introduction, operational readiness, and capacity planning activities.
- Engagement with key functional groups, (indirect purchasing, finance, group property, risk and insurance, quality, compliance, taxation and export controls) to ensure logistics operations are compliant to RRMS
- Champion a continuous improvement culture using Lean principles and problem-solving methodologies.
- Lead Kaizen events, value stream improvements, visual management and waste elimination initiatives.
- Develop team capability in Lean tools and behaviours.
- Promote standardised work, process discipline, and operational excellence throughout the logistics function.

- Demonstrated experience leading Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong financial and cost management awareness.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong Planning background
- Experience in managing projects and applying programme management methodology
- Strong analysis skills
