This is an exciting and unique opportunity for an experienced Engineering Lead to take a two -three year assignment based in Istanbul, Turkey. The purpose of this role is to bring Rolls-Royce MRO engineering best practice to our newest Approved Maintenance Centre in Istanbul. Turkish Technic will be inducting their first Trent engine in December 2027, and Rolls-Royce is committed to bringing our engineering knowledge and MRO experience to support Turkish Technic's journey.

What you will be doing:
- You'll play a critical role in enabling Turkish Technic to successfully deliver overhaul capability for Trent XWB and Trent 7000 engines, aligned with Rolls-Royce strategy and standards.
- You will be the main point of contact to provide direct technical response to Turkish Technic on routine capability development queries.
- Act as the key technical interface between Turkish Technic and Rolls-Royce, coordinating access to specialist support and functions.
- Work closely with Project Management, Engineering and Operations to shape implementation plans, roadmaps and engineering structures.
- Coach and mentor engineers and technicians, transferring Rolls-Royce best practice across overhaul, repair and shop-floor execution.
- Support translation of engineering methods into practical shop-floor processes and documentation, including route cards and technical instructions.
- Guide the setup and operation of Workscope and customer change management, Change control and Method Verification Approvals (MVAs), and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
- Support preparation of Technical Variance (TV) requests and manage technical deviations with Rolls-Royce engineering.
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting and technical support for engine maintenance and repair.
- Deliver training and re-training for engineering and workshop teams.
- Support integration with digital tools and systems across engineering and operations.

- Strong experience in engine overhaul and repair engineering within an MRO environment.
- Solid knowledge of the Trent engine family, including design features and overhaul processes.
- Confidence using Rolls-Royce technical manuals and systems (e.g. CARE, EMP, OMSDs).
- Strong understanding of quality and compliance frameworks such as FAIR, MVA, SABRe and NADCAP.
- Working knowledge of airworthiness regulations (EASA, CAA or equivalent).
- Experience working with cross-functional support teams (planning, logistics, quality, etc.).
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence external partners.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver solutions in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Comfort working with challenging deadlines and limited technical backup when required.
- Experience in setting up new teams or MRO capabilities (highly desirable).
- Good digital awareness and confidence using engineering and operational toolsets.
