An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Operations Officer to join the team. The role is integral to the planning and delivery of services to our regional customers. Key interfaces include Airline Support Teams (ASTs), Induction Planners, Fleet Planners, Customer Operations Managers, Engine Value Streams and Service Line teams.

You will be part of a small cross-functional team with a broad range of services planning responsibilities, requiring the ability to build close working relationships and adopt a flexible approach. In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of services delivery tasks in-region. The role is not specifically customer or product aligned, meaning you will be required to adapt to changing business and customer needs.

What you will be doing:

  • Delivering critical customer delivery plans in accordance with Service Line and Value Stream policies.
  • Using the Voice of the Customer and local knowledge to prioritise proactive outcomes, for example coordinating stagger plans in conjunction with Central Planning, whilst managing reactive concerns.
  • Supporting Customer Operations Managers with AST and customer escalations.
  • Working directly with customers, as required, to achieve successful delivery outcomes.
  • Creating communication packs and presenting these to customers.
  • Working across a broad range of services planning activities within a small cross-functional team.
  • Building close working relationships across Airline Support Teams, Induction Planning, Fleet Planning, Customer Operations, Engine Value Streams and Service Line teams.
  • Adapting to changing requirements within a role that is customer-facing but not primarily aligned to a specific customer or product.

Position Qualifications:

  • Planning and programme management experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multifunctional and multicultural environment.
  • A self-starter, capable of dealing with ambiguity and demonstrating a strong drive for results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, including the management of internal and external operational data.
  • Degree in a technical or numerate discipline, or relevant industry experience.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience of working within a customer-facing operational or services environment.
  • Experience of managing customer delivery plans, priorities and/or operational escalations.
  • Experience of working collaboratively across cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to use customer and operational insight to prioritise activities and support effective decision-making.
  • Experience of preparing and presenting information to customers and internal stakeholders.
