Position Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Business Officer to join the Sales Support team in Derby. Within the organisation of the SVP Sales, the Sales Support team is responsible for the smooth management of the Sell Value Stream as well as its integration to both upstream and downstream activities. It is accountable for the delivery of change initiatives and improvements, driving delivery and process compliance and facilitating the development of Customer Team strategy. The role will afford you the opportunity to gain an in-depth knowledge of the business’s key financial and operational drivers as well as the opportunity to spend time at the forefront of our business, developing an understanding and knowledge of our market and the customer space.
What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating sales campaign and Account Management approvals by coordinating and supporting Level 2 and 3 approval sessions with Senior Stakeholders and their delegates, including participants from across the business and globe such as the Customer Leadership Team and Value Streams. Responsibilities include scheduling approval meetings, documenting meeting outcomes and driving a decision‑making approach.
- Managing a shared inbox, calendar, and digital work planning tool.
- Supporting the planning of Sales Campaigns and being part of the Integrated Campaign Team.
- Supporting Sales Directors in ensuring that their management of the Sell Value Stream drives greater campaign success and ensures process compliance.
- Identifying and driving process improvements across the Sales & Customer Business team, focussing on improving our processes, removing waste, and increasing time which is value‑add.
