Civil Digital Enterprise Architect

What you’ll be doing:

This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of data & AI architecture, governance, and emerging technologies. In this exciting role, you will look after:

• Stakeholder engagement and management across Civil Aerospace.

• Develop and maintain the data & AI architecture, ensuring it supports the organization’s business strategy and objectives.

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of robust data governance frameworks and practices.

• Collaborate with business leaders and IT teams to identify and prioritize data & AI initiatives that drive business value.

• Ensure data integration and data quality across various systems and platforms, and effective data access and provisioning capabilities.

• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and practices to enhance data management and analytics capabilities, including AI.

• Provide guidance and direction to data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders on best practices for data and analytics architecture and management.

• Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and industry standards.

• Develop and maintain documentation related to data and AI architecture, policies, and procedures.

• Act as a mentor for Solution Architects within the Civil IT and Digital function.

• Proven experience in developing and implementing enterprise data and AI strategies.

• Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality management, and data integration techniques.

• Experience with data modelling, database design, and data warehousing solutions.

• Familiarity with cloud data and AI platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems.

• Working knowledge of TOGAF, DAMA-DMBOK, or similar frameworks is a plus.
