Job Title: Chief Marine Engineer – Automation & Electrical
Working Pattern: Full-time
Working location: Bristol/Hybrid
The Chief Marine Engineer is accountable to RRPS Chief Engineer Mobile for Safety and Fitness of Purpose of NautIQ Solutions products. This critical role requires a proven electrical engineering professional who will drive product safety compliance and lead engineering capability development across our marine automation solutions. You will be at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge naval and marine systems while managing key stakeholder relationships and driving innovation in marine engineering.

What you will be doing
With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to:
- Maintain Product Safety in accordance with Rolls-Royce Policy and relevant legislation while applying HSE Compliance to products
- Lead Capability Leadership and Development of engineering across NautIQ Solutions UK and manage Knowledge Management and IP
- Manage critical Stakeholder relationships between Engineering, Technology & Safety and NautIQ Solutions
- Support Business Capability and Resource Planning to drive strategic engineering initiatives

- Hold a Masters or Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering subject with Chartered Engineer status and significant proven electrical engineering experience
- Demonstrate proven ability to apply logical, analytical and innovative thinking on technical problems and make balanced decisions in complex situations
- Possess extensive experience in provisioning optimised design/function solutions with demonstrable understanding of process driven product change control
- Have excellent working-level knowledge of all relevant technical skills with Product Introduction Lifecycle Management experience
- Be a keen advocate of High Performance Culture, creative thinker and pragmatic problem solver with strong focus on driving compliance and improvement
