The Trent XWB engine family is the exclusive powerplant for the Airbus A350 family, providing industry-leading efficiency, reliability and long-range capability. The Trent XWB value stream is responsible for the delivery of a large portion of Civil Aerospace profit which is generated by performing maintenance shop visits for our Customers.
As we enter a sustained period of growth, shop visit volumes are forecast to increase materially over the next three years. By 2028, Trent XWB is expected to represent approximately 40% of all MRO events across the business. The volume of shop visits that we perform in any year is directly linked to the length of time that engine spends in the shop – less time in shop = more shop visit events.
The C2C manager is responsible for leading a cross functional IPT of Aftermarket Ops, Value Stream and our global network of overhaul bases to reduce the time taken in shop, improve our operational performance and deliver our financial commitments.

- Drive TRT reduction: Integrate with overhaul bases through weekly L1 TRT governance to advocate for the value stream in order to deliver the operational and financial plan. Work with Programme Leads for Service Delivery and the other value streams to standardise governance, interactions and information flow with overhaul bases. Be the customer of the TRT burndown plan (overhaul bases to own plans). Agree TRT reduction targets through L1 TRT governance. Overhaul bases to own & commit TRT targets (future assumptions) with Aftermarket Ops VPs MRO. Serve as an escalation/prioritisation point of contact for internal RR actions e.g. parts performance.
