A Business Administrator role has become available at our Faslane site supporting our Services Team. As the Business Administrator you will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency and business performance across our dedicated teams. You will have the opportunity to utilise your IT and reporting skills and support in leading cross-functional initiatives, optimise our business processes and support the strategic growth of our department. With a focus on data-driven decision-making you will work closely with our engineering and project management teams to deliver value to our internal and external customers.
What you will be doing:
- This position will give you a chance to drive financial performance, influence strategic decision making, and support key stakeholders in a dynamic business environment.
- As our Business Administrator you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy of financial data, forecasting business trends and providing insightful analysis to support our business plan.
- Leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
- Analysing and reporting on performance, finding trends, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and introduce digital solutions.
- Developing financial models to support decision making.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports for internal stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- Supporting business continuity activities and planning processes.
- Supporting resourcing strategy.
To be successful in this role you need to have:
- Experience compiling monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
- IT analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Capable stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in a target focused structured organisation.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
For more than 60 years Rolls-Royce Submarines has designed, supplied and supported the nuclear propulsion plant, providing power for all UK Royal Navy nuclear submarines.
