An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Lead to support the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Programme in Rolls-Royce Defence, Bristol. The Rolls-Royce LiftSystem® is a major component of the Joint Strike Fighter propulsion system for the Short Take-Off Vertical Landing F35-B variant, where the UK programme forms a major part of this global solution. In this role you will be responsible for supporting both OE and Aftermarket contracts

What you will be doing:

  • Act as a prime interface for work packages, ensuring appropriate governance and project controls are in place to enable on time delivery and cost and quality objectives.
  • Support to programme governance including the provision and analysis of Earned Value Management System data for Programme Managers to enable critical decision making and adherence to FAR15 contractual requirements.
  • Support new work proposal submissions, integrating with multiple internal and external stakeholders as required
  • Be provided with development opportunities by being part of a continuous improvement team

Position qualifications:

  • Experience in planning / managing projects and work packages.
  • Experience in the development and / or implementation of project management processes and good knowledge of the project control processes.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office tools, risk management tools and SA

Preferred requirements:

  • Member of a professional body and working towards APM PMQ qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience in Earned Value Analysis
