Job TitleElectronics Engineer In-Service Electrical - SubmarinesPosition SummaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Electronic Engineer to join our In Service Electrical Department at Rolls-Royce Submarines in Derby. The In-Service Electrical Department supports the Reactor Control and Instrumentation, Power Systems and Plant Sensors equipment across the UK.
What you will be doing
- Reviewing and agreeing high level electrical requirements including their testability.
- Analysing and translating high level requirements into a validated design for the electrical component.
- Designing and implementing electrical designs to meet the high level requirements and design constraints/standards.
- Analysing electrical designs for functional behaviour, including modelling and simulation to demonstrate that the design meets the high level requirements.
- Participating and supporting capacity planning and the development of long-term strategic goals for the department, in conjunction with the department
managers. - Developing, implementing, documents, and maintains policies, procedures, associated guidelines, tools and training as required.

- Able to train people to improve the capability of the business within a specific area of the business and deliver
