Salary depending on experience and role, starting at £70,000-£90,000
Test Capability Manager will report to the Chief Development Engineer. This role involves managing function-based capabilities, ensuring project delivery through people, processes, and tools, to achieve project outcomes efficiently.
Role criteria:
- Experience in large testing programmes within regulated industries, ideally in safety-critical sectors like nuclear, though not essential.
Development of Capability
- Experience in developing and improving methods, tools, processes, and personnel capabilities.
- Ownership and delivery of departmental strategies, e.g., Approach to Test.
Communication and Influence
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of leading multidisciplinary teams.
Systems Engineering
- Systems-thinking mindset with practical experience in using Systems Engineering tools and techniques.
- Analytical, methodical, and adaptable to change and uncertainty.
Nuclear Safety Culture
- Ability to promote and model positive safety behaviors, fostering a strong safety culture.
Pay and Benefits
- Salary: £70,000-£90,000
- Performance bonus up to 12.5%
