Senior Information Analyst
Salary: £48,000 - £63,000 DOE. Location: Derby, Manchester OR Warrington (Hybrid).
Overview
Rolls‑Royce SMR is revolutionising nuclear power. We’re looking for a Senior Information Analyst to support our Digital Technology (DigIT) function, delivering an enterprise‑wide information management strategy aligned with cyber security, compliance and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Leadership – create and support the vision/strategy; provide insight into information and data processes, embed secure practices via training, champion information as a corporate asset.
- Policy & Governance – develop, implement and maintain information and data policies, standards and procedures aligned with GDPR, NIS2 and nuclear sector obligations; manage classification, labelling and regular checks; support audits and regulatory inspections.
- Program Delivery – lead multi‑year information governance programme; perform risk assessment, remediation, controls implementation; develop and track KPIs for maturity.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management – collaborate with business unit leaders, IT and project managers to embed governance into new projects; support training and awareness campaigns.
- Key results – develop KPIs; support the creation of an information management programme; analyse risks and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable track record in an information management environment.
- Experience developing strategy and managing governance frameworks, policies and procedures.
- Proven ability to partner with business and drive outcomes without direct control.
- Strong analytical skills – able to analyse trends, patterns and develop KPIs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Deep knowledge of information management and data standards (e.g., ISO 27001/27701, ONR, IAEA guidance).
