We are recruiting for the role of Senior Engineer – Structural Integrity to develop and implement structural integrity requirements within our innovative nuclear projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop the structural integrity case for the UK generic design of the Rolls-Royce SMR.
2. Assist in implementing structural integrity requirements and guidance across the business, acting as a stakeholder throughout the design and lifecycle.
3. Refine beyond code requirements to meet UK expectations for high-reliability components.
4. Develop requirements for lower classification components to meet UK legislative standards.
5. Define and refine requirements for other international regulatory regimes as needed.
6. Interface with regulators via written communication or technical meetings.
7. Manage stakeholder relationships within the scope of work, ensuring timely and quality outputs.
8. Demonstrate leadership and advocate for the team/department.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: £48000-£63000 (DOE) plus:

• Performance-related bonus up to 12.5%
• Benefits Allowance of £2200
• 12% employer and 6% employee pension contributions
• 28 days holiday plus public holidays, with options to buy or sell days

• One-off £250 payment for home office purchases for new starters
