The Reward team partners across the organization to shape fair, competitive, and data‑led approaches that support attraction, engagement, and retention.

This is a pivotal role, helping to shape and deliver competitive, equitable reward strategies while providing expert guidance that supports organizational growth and people success.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Job Evaluation & Role Sizing: Managing job evaluation and grading using recognised methodologies (e.g. WTW GGS), ensuring consistency and integrity across job architecture and levelling.
  • Compensation Benchmarking & Analysis: Analysing market data to benchmark salaries and shape competitive, equitable pay structures and reward packages.
  • Advisory & Stakeholder Partnership: Partnering with HR and business leaders to provide expert guidance on compensation, internal equity, and offer design.
  • Compensation Systems (Workday): Acting as Workday compensation SME, supporting configuration, planning cycles, and continuous system improvement.
  • Data & Insights: Delivering compensation analytics, monitoring trends, and providing data‑driven recommendations to inform decision‑making.
  • Projects & Reward Cycles: Leading or supporting annual reward activities and broader HR projects to drive effective and timely delivery.

What You’ll Bring

  • Significant experience in compensation and reward management within a complex organization.
  • Proven ability to lead end-to-end compensation processes and projects autonomously.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and HRIS tools (e.g., Workday).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of job evaluation and grading methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of labour market trends, compensation practices, employee relations and regulatory compliance.
  • Certification in Willis Towers Watson Global Grading System (GGS) or equivalent job evaluation methodology beneficial, but not essential.

We offer hybrid working, with regular attendance in one of our offices in Derby, Manchester, or Warrington.

We anticipate a salary of £63,600.00 - £83,500.00 dependent on the skills, values, and knowledge you bring.
