We are now recruiting for the exciting role of Senior Project Manager, to be involved in industry leading, cutting-edge design project for a new type of power station.
This role, reporting to a Senior Project Manager, will provide project management support to a dedicated project or programme of work. The projects and programme will have strong engineering, procurement, construction and/or regulatory focus, in relation to the development of a new nuclear power station. This role will involve managing a specific project(s) and will provide support to the Senior Project Manager. The role will require a high level of project and programme management experience.
This will include:
- Ensuring on-time and on-budget project delivery of their own projects.
- Ensure the project plans are kept up to date by the team, with support from the Project Planners.
- Manage the regular update of financial forecasts, with support from the Cost Engineers.
- Working with key internal stakeholders to understand performance and status of the key deliverables.
- Reporting performance and escalate issues to the Senior Project Manager.
- Creating a positive and productive work environment both within the project team and across other business functions.
- Document lessons learned and apply these in future work.
- Review and manage project risks and provide actionable mitigations.
- Identify and implement improvements to the organisation’s processes and ways of working.
- Ensuring compliance with project management processes and procedures.
- Support meetings with external stakeholders as required.

Pay And Benefits
We anticipate paying a salary of between £48,000 – £62,500 DOE plus:-
- Bonus – Performance related target opportunity 12.5%
- Benefits Allowance – £2,200 per annum, enabling you to create a bespoke package
- Pension – 12% employer and 6% employee contributions.
- Holidays – 28 days holiday (+ public holidays) and the ability to buy or sell up to 4 days.
- Private Medical Insurance – BUPA single cover health care
- Life Assurance – 6x pensionable pay
- £250 – One-off payment for new starters for home office purchases
