Location: Hybrid, based from one of our offices in Derby, Manchester or Warrington

Salary: We anticipate paying a salary in the £42,000 - £55,150 range.

Overview: Our mission is to deliver clean, affordable energy for all. Our Small Modular Reactor (SMR) provides a British solution to a global energy challenge, positioning us as a potential global leader.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver internal audits across the annual audit plan, contributing high-quality insights and recommendations
  • Engage stakeholders across the business, including up to senior leadership level
  • Support audit action tracking and follow-ups to ensure effective risk mitigation
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across data, digital and audit methodology

Qualifications:

  • A degree (or equivalent experience) and interest in working towards a professional audit qualification (CIA / ACA / ACCA)
  • Experience in internal audit preferred, or closely related areas such as external audit, finance or risk
  • Confidence working with stakeholders and communicating complex topics clearly
  • Technical proficiency and an analytical mindset, with a curiosity to improve processes and ways of working

Location Details: Flexible and hybrid working, with regular attendance expected at one of our UK offices in Warrington, Manchester or Derby.
