Our mission is to deliver clean, affordable energy for all. Our Small Modular Reactor (SMR) provides a British solution to a global energy challenge. We are uniquely positioned to become a global leader in SMR technology and one of the UK's most important clean energy and export success stories.

The Project Management Office (PMO) plays a critical role in enabling confident, informed decision-making across the organisation. By providing accurate performance insights, governance oversight and integrated programme controls, the team helps ensure the successful delivery of one of the UK's most ambitious energy programmes. The Reporting function sits at the centre of this activity, transforming complex data into meaningful business intelligence that supports delivery at every level.

We're looking for a Senior Manager - Reporting to join our PMO, reporting to the Head of Integrated Programme Controls. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for shaping and leading our enterprise reporting capability, ensuring senior leaders have the performance insights, intelligence and governance information needed to make timely, confident decisions. Your work will directly contribute to successful programme delivery and the future growth of Rolls-Royce SMR.

We will need you to:

  • Lead and continuously improve reporting frameworks, governance standards and reporting cadences across programmes and portfolios.
  • Develop insightful management reporting, KPI dashboards and performance visualisations that enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Bring together schedule, cost, risk, change and delivery performance information into a clear, integrated reporting view.
  • Collaborate across PMO, Engineering, Finance, Commercial and Programme teams to improve reporting quality, consistency and automation.

This is a pivotal role at the heart of our programme delivery organisation. You'll help create a single source of truth for reporting, improve confidence in business-critical information and provide the insights that influence strategic decisions across the organisation. Your work will help leaders identify risks earlier, make better decisions faster and strengthen delivery confidence as we scale our business and technology.

What’s in it for you? We anticipate a salary of £71,000.00 - £93,200.00 dependent on the skills, values, and knowledge you bring. We also offer excellent benefits including:

  • Bonus - Performance related bonus of up to 17%
  • Benefits Allowance - £5000, enabling you to create a bespoke package
  • Pension - 12% employer and 6% employee contributions.
  • Holidays - 28 days holiday (+ public holidays) and the ability to buy or sell up to 5 days
  • Private Medical Insurance - BUPA single cover health care
  • Life Assurance - 6x pensionable pay
  • £250 - One-off payment for new starters for home office purchases

We'd love to hear from you if you bring:

  • A degree qualification, or equivalent professional experience, in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience establishing and enhancing enterprise reporting frameworks within PMO, programme controls, major projects or complex delivery environments.
  • Strong capability in management reporting, KPI development, dashboard creation and translating complex performance data into meaningful business insights.
  • Advanced Excel skills alongside Power BI or similar reporting and data visualisation platforms.
  • Knowledge of integrated project controls disciplines, including schedule, cost, risk, change and performance reporting.
