The Civil & Structural Engineering team sits at the core of our engineering capability, delivering complex structural and infrastructure solutions across highly regulated, safety-critical environments. Working on internationally significant programmes, the team combines technical excellence with integrated, multi-disciplinary collaboration to deliver innovative and robust engineering outcomes.
The Opportunity
In this context, we are looking for a Lead Engineer – Civil and Structural (Structures) to support the CEZ Civil & Structural Lead on the Temelín programme. This role provides technical leadership across structural design scope, shaping engineering solutions and ensuring safe, compliant and integrated delivery within a major international nuclear project.
What You’ll Be Helping Us Deliver
- Leading the development, assurance and coordination of structural design solutions across reinforced concrete and steel structures within your area of responsibility
- Managing defined packages of structural work, ensuring technical outputs are robust, compliant and aligned to programme requirements
- Coordinating closely with civil, geotechnical, mechanical and other disciplines, ensuring seamless integration across complex design interfaces
- Chairing and contributing to technical reviews and workshops, driving resolution of complex engineering challenges and risks
- Mentoring and developing engineers, promoting best practice and contributing to a high-performing, collaborative team environment

What We’re Looking For
- Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer, or equivalent demonstrable experience within structural engineering
- Experience leading structural design on complex infrastructure or industrial programmes
- Strong technical knowledge of structural analysis, loading conditions, and relevant codes and standards, with experience across steel and reinforced concrete structures
- Experience working within structured technical governance environments, including presenting, justifying and defending engineering solutions
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working across multi-disciplinary teams in complex organisations
- Understanding of safety-led design principles, including integration of conventional health and safety considerations, with nuclear or other regulated sector experience beneficial
Location
We offer flexible working arrangements, with an expectation of regular office or site attendance to support collaboration, stakeholder engagement and programme delivery.
