The Opportunity

We need you to lead and deliver critical elements of our programme within the GBE-N project. You’ll take ownership of planning, coordinating and delivering complex work packages, helping us move forward with Stage 1 delivery in a structured and highly regulated environment. This is a role where you’ll balance strategic delivery with hands-on execution—working across teams, managing dependencies, and ensuring everything stays aligned to time, cost and quality commitments.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining quality standards
  • Lead planning activities and ensure project plans remain accurate and up to date
  • Manage financial forecasts alongside Cost Engineers
  • Monitor performance, risks and dependencies, acting early to resolve issues
  • Provide clear reporting and escalate where needed
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships across the business
  • Create a positive, high-performing team environment
  • Drive continuous improvement and apply lessons learned

What We’re Looking For

You’ll bring:

  • Strong project management experience delivering large, complex engineering programmes
  • Knowledge of planning, budgeting, risk and change management
  • Experience working in regulated or infrastructure environments (nuclear, energy, or similar advantageous)
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple workstreams and simplify complex information
  • Familiarity with tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP or similar is beneficial

Qualifications & Experience

We’d love you to have:

  • Degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Project Management qualification (e.g. APM PMQ) or equivalent experience
  • Experience in complex, multi-million-pound programmes
  • Understanding of systems engineering or large-scale product development
  • Membership of a professional body (desirable)

Salary: £50,650 - £66,500
