The Internal Audit team plays a critical role in supporting this ambition—strengthening governance, improving risk management, and driving smarter, more efficient ways of working across the business.

In this context, we are looking for an Internal Auditor to join our growing team, reporting to the Internal Audit Manager. This is an opportunity to step into a “fully-fledged” audit role—delivering impactful audits, engaging senior stakeholders, and helping shape the future of our audit function.

We’ll need you to:

  • Deliver internal audits across the annual audit plan, contributing high-quality insights and recommendations
  • Engage stakeholders across the business, including up to senior leadership level
  • Support audit action tracking and follow-ups to ensure effective risk mitigation
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across data, digital and audit methodology

This is a high-profile, developmental role, and you’ll bring a collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to building relationships across a fast-paced organisation.

We’re looking for:

  • A degree (or equivalent experience) and interest in working towards a professional audit qualification (CIA / ACA / ACCA)
  • Experience in internal audit preferred, or closely related areas such as external audit, finance or risk
  • Confidence working with stakeholders and communicating complex topics clearly
  • Technical proficiency and an analytical mindset, with a curiosity to improve processes and ways of working

If you don’t meet every requirement but have relevant transferable experience, we encourage you to apply.

Location

We offer flexible and hybrid working, with regular attendance expected at one of our UK offices in Warrington, Manchester or Derby.

What’s in it for you?

We anticipate a salary of £42,000 - £55,150 dependent on the skills, values, and knowledge you bring. We also offer excellent benefits including:

  • Bonus - Performance related bonus of up to 12.5%
  • Benefits Allowance - £2200, enabling you to create a bespoke package
  • Pension - 12% employer and 6% employee contributions.
  • Holidays - 28 days holiday (+ public holidays) and the ability to buy or sell up to 4 days
  • Private Medical Insurance - BUPA single cover health care
  • Life Assurance - 6x pensionable pay
  • £250 - One-off payment for new starters for home office purchases
