We are proud to be at the forefront of the UK’s emerging SMR sector and are on track to become a world leader in SMRs and the UK’s premier green‑export technology.
The Team
You will join our Integrated Product Support (IPS) Team, part of Nuclear Engineering & E3S Analysis. The team’s mission is to ensure that reliability, maintainability, supportability and plant availability are embedded throughout the SMR design lifecycle. They shape how the power station will be operated, maintained and supported, ensuring it remains safe, efficient and cost‑effective across its full lifetime. Your work will directly influence design decisions, outage strategies, maintenance planning, and the development of the wider support solution.

- Managing your own technical work scope, including planning, risk management and delivery of high‑quality engineering outputs.
The Impact
Your work will directly shape the operability and maintainability of the RR SMR power station influencing everything from system design to outage execution. By ensuring availability targets are realistic, traceable and evidence‑based, you will help secure long‑term performance, operational efficiency and regulatory confidence. This is a role where your expertise creates tangible, lasting impact on the UK’s future clean‑energy capability.
