This position is central to supporting the UK Generic Design Assessment (GDA) process and producing customer Cases and Safety Analysis Reports.You will be responsible for authoring highly technical documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and engaging with internal teams and external stakeholders, including regulators and customers.**Key Responsibilities*** Author E3S Case and Safety Analysis Report documents in line with governance and quality assurance standards.* Develop and maintain plans for document production and timely submission to regulators and customers.* Support the E3S Case Manager in managing and configuring the E3S Case and Safety Analysis Report.* Contribute to the development of Claims, Arguments, and Evidence (CAE) structures.* Provide guidance to engineering teams to ensure robust arguments and evidence.* Engage with external regulators and customers on E3S topics.**What We’re Looking For**We know there’s no such thing as the ‘perfect’ candidate—if you meet around 75% of these requirements, we’d love to hear from you!**Essential Skills & Experience:*** Strong ability to plan, prioritise, and deliver to tight deadlines.* Excellent communication skills—able to convey technical information clearly in writing and verbally.* Experience in authoring technical reports and navigating governance processes.* Stakeholder engagement experience across complex projects.* Understanding of safety, environmental, or security cases and regulatory frameworks (UK or international).**What we can offer you:*** **Salary:** £40,000 – £52,500* **Benefit Allowance:** £2,200* **Bonus Opportunity:** 12.5%* **Life Assurance:** 6x pensionable salary* **Income Protection:** 50%* **Holiday:** 28 days plus bank holidays* **New Joiner Payment:** £250* Flexible and part-time working options available.At Rolls-Royce SMR, diversity and inclusion are at the heart of everything we do.
