Our mission

Our mission is to deliver clean, affordable energy for all. Our Small Modular Reactor (SMR) provides a British solution to a global energy crisis. We are in pole position to become a world leader in SMRs and the UK’s premier green export technology.

The team

The Engineering function is central to delivering our SMR programme, bringing together design, construction and digital expertise to solve complex, safety-critical challenges. Within this, our Information Management capability is transforming how data, BIM and delivery integrate—ensuring that information is trusted, accessible and drives right-first-time outcomes across the lifecycle.

Role summary

In this context, we are looking for a BIM Manager – Projects, reporting to a Senior Information Manager. Leading a growing team of BIM and Information specialists, this role will define and embed best-in-class information management across live projects—ensuring that design, construction and supply chain data is coordinated, assured and optimised to enable predictable, high-quality delivery.

What you’ll help deliver

  • Shaping and delivering Information Management and BIM strategies aligned to programme and project delivery requirements
  • Establishing, leading and scaling a project-focused Information Management team, aligned to delivery milestones
  • Owning core IM outputs including EIR, BEP, AIR and MIDP, ensuring they are proportionate, clear and deliverable
  • Integrating data flows across design, construction and supply chain partners, improving construction readiness and reducing rework

You’ll also act as a key interface across clients, partners and internal teams—ensuring information is treated as a critical delivery asset rather than a standalone digital output.

What you’ll bring

This is a pivotal role within a complex, highly regulated programme. You’ll bring a delivery-first mindset, natural credibility with senior stakeholders, and the ability to embed new approaches that improve how information enables engineering and construction outcomes.

Skills & experience

  • A degree in engineering, construction, architecture or a related discipline (or equivalent experience), with further BIM or Information Management development advantageous
  • Experience delivering BIM and information management across large-scale, regulated infrastructure or construction projects
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 19650, BIM principles and Common Data Environments (e.g. ACC, Asite, SharePoint), applied pragmatically in live project environments
  • Experience leading teams and influencing across multidisciplinary functions, including design, delivery, commercial and supply chain

Location

We offer flexible and hybrid working, with the expectation to attend an RR-SMR site as required to support collaboration, stakeholder engagement and project delivery.

What’s in it for you

  • Salary of between £60,000-£78,750
  • Bonus - Performance related target opportunity 7%
  • Benefits Allowance – £2,200 per annum, enabling you to create a bespoke package
  • Pension - 12% employer and 6% employee contributions
  • Holidays - 28 days holiday (+ public holidays) and the ability to buy or sell up to 4 days
  • Private Medical Insurance - BUPA single cover health care
  • Life Assurance - 6x pensionable pay
  • £250 - One-off payment for new starters for home office purchases
