Plant Delivery Mobilisation Manager
Rolls Royce SMR is on a mission to deliver clean, affordable energy for all. Now that we reached this pivotal point in our growth and development we need to hire a Plant Delivery Mobilisation Manager to co-ordinate and deliver mobilisation and readiness activities for a defined Sub-Area within the Plant Delivery organisation.
Specifically this will involve:
- Establishing and delivering mobilisation processes and readiness activities for your area
- Ensuring that governance requirements and delivery methodologies are effectively implemented, embedded, followed and improved
- Creating and owning detailed delivery plans, actions, risks and readiness metrics
- Co-ordinating activities across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain and operations teams
- Proactively identifying, tracking and managing tasks, issues, assumptions and dependencies
We seek an thorough, proactive and resilient professional who will have had exposure in regulated or safety‑critical environments (as you would expect nuclear know‑how will be of great interest to us, whilst those from defence, aerospace and energy sectors may all have transferable capability). We will need your experience and knowledge in the following areas:
- Mobilisation, industrialisation, operations, programme delivery, operational readiness and/or new product introduction activities, ideally in a complex engineering environment
- The coordination of complex work activities, schedules, risks, dependencies and stakeholder actions and meeting delivery objectives
- The application of established business processes, governance frameworks and delivery methodologies whilst driving continuous improvement initiatives

Location & Ways of Working
This role can be based from our Derby, Manchester or Warrington office. Hybrid working is standard, with regular supplier travel required. Some international travel may also be required depending on supplier activity.
Remuneration and Benefits
A salary between £63,700 and £78,750 depending on experience, 12% performance related bonus and a longer term incentive scheme.
- A benefits allowance of £2,200 to build a personalised package
- Pension – 12% employer, 6% employee
- Holidays – 28 days + public holidays (option to buy/sell up to 4 days)

- Life Assurance – 6× pensionable pay
- £250 one-off home office setup payment
Pay Range: £60,000.00 - £78,750.00
