The appointment of a Senior Manager - Industrialisation Capability Acquisition will be a pivotal role at Rolls Royce SMR in being responsible for ensuring required capabilities are planned, developed and deployed at the right time to enable industrialisation delivery. You will be reporting to our Senior Manager - Production Systems and your role will look like, Identify future capability requirements and develop plans to ensure organisational readiness Translate capability requirements into implemented solutions encompassing people, processes and tools Assess organisational readiness and maturity levels, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities Ensure capability solutions are successfully adopted across operational and programme functions.

Requirements

We seek an inspiring and tenacious individual who will have had exposure in regulated or safety‑critical environments (as you would expect nuclear "know-how" will be of great interest to us, whilst those from defence, aerospace and manufacturing sectors may all have transferable capability). We will need your application to showcase your experience and knowledge in the following areas:

  • Strategic capability development experience
  • Organisational readiness and maturity assessment expertise
  • Strategic workforce planning exposure
  • Capability modelling experience
  • Experience delivering organisational growth, transformation or capability improvement programmes
  • Strong programme and stakeholder management skills

Location & Ways of Working

This role can be based from our Derby, Manchester or Warrington office. Hybrid working is standard, with regular supplier travel required. Some international travel may also be required depending on supplier activity.

In return we offer

  • A salary between £71,000 and £93,200 depending on experience
  • 17% performance related bonus
  • A benefits allowance of £5,000 to build a personalised package

  • Life Assurance – 6× pensionable pay

Pay Range: £71,000.00 - £93,187.50
