About the role
Senior Logistics Operations Manager – Control Tower will lead the development and operation of our global control tower, providing real‑time visibility, governance and performance management across the logistics network.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day‑to‑day operations of the global logistics control tower.
- Ensure real‑time visibility of shipments, inventory and transport performance across all modes and locations.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for logistics disruptions, delays and service failures.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams to resolve operational issues and maintain delivery schedules.
- Define and monitor logistics KPIs, delivering performance reporting, dashboards and insights.
- Lead incident and exception management, implementing contingency plans to mitigate risk.
- Drive process standardisation, continuous improvement and innovation across logistics operations.
- Support digital transformation, including control tower systems, automation and data analytics.
- Ensure data integrity, system governance and consistent use of logistics platforms.
Required experience and skills
- Proven experience in logistics operations, control tower environments or supply chain visibility platforms.
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end logistics operations across multiple geographies.
- Experience managing logistics performance through KPIs, reporting and analytics.
- Strong problem‑solving capability with experience managing operational risk and disruption.
- Experience working with 3PL/4PL partners and logistics networks.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across cross‑functional teams.
- Commercial awareness with understanding of logistics cost and performance drivers.
- Experience in complex, regulated or safety‑critical industries such as energy, infrastructure, manufacturing or aerospace.
