Our Small Modular Reactor (SMR) provides a British solution to a global energy challenge, and we are building a world‑leading programme to deliver innovative, scalable nuclear technology. Our Property & Infrastructure team plays a critical role in enabling our industrialisation strategy, leading the development of major facilities that will support manufacturing at scale. The team works at pace, collaborating across the business and with external partners to deliver complex, high‑impact programmes.

This is a high‑impact role responsible for leading the delivery of a UK factory site from early site selection through to construction and handover—shaping a critical element of our long‑term business capability.

What we’ll need you to do:

  • Leading end‑to‑end delivery of the factory property and infrastructure programme, from acquisition through to operational handover
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary delivery across civil, structural and MEP construction activities
  • Managing key internal and external stakeholders, including manufacturing, finance, HSE and delivery partners
  • Driving programme performance through effective planning, risk management, reporting and continuous improvement

This is a pivotal role at the heart of our programme, and you’ll bring a collaborative, delivery‑focused mindset with the confidence to lead complex projects across multiple stakeholders.

What we’re looking for:

  • A recognised project management qualification (e.g. APM PMQ) or equivalent experience delivering complex, multi‑year projects
  • Experience delivering large‑scale infrastructure or construction projects, ideally within industrial or regulated environments
  • Ability to manage multidisciplinary delivery teams and navigate complex stakeholder environments
  • Knowledge of construction practices, project controls, risk management and commercial delivery principles

We’ll also be interested to hear about your experience of leading full lifecycle project delivery, including early‑stage development, procurement and site execution.

Location: We offer flexible, hybrid working, with regular travel required. You can be based from offices such as Manchester, Warrington or Derby, with travel to project locations across the UK as required.

What’s in it for you?

You’ll play a key role in delivering a nationally significant infrastructure programme, with opportunities to grow your experience on complex, high‑value projects. We anticipate a salary of £60,000.00 - £78,750.00 dependent on the skills, values, and knowledge you bring.

  • Bonus - Performance related bonus of up to 12.5%
  • Benefits Allowance - £2200, enabling you to create a bespoke package
  • Pension - 12% employer and 6% employee contributions.
  • Holidays - 28 days holiday (+ public holidays) and the ability to buy or sell up to 4 days
  • Private Medical Insurance - BUPA single cover health care
  • Life Assurance - 6x pensionable pay
  • £250 - One-off payment for new starters for home office purchases

Selection process: The process will include an initial conversation with Talent Acquisition, followed by interviews with the hiring team. Pre‑employment screening will be required.

Pay Range: £60,000.00 - £78,750.00
