About the role

Project Manager: Consents, Permitting and Licensing (CEZ Programme)

We’re looking for a Project Manager to lead and deliver Consents, Permitting and Licensing activities across our CEZ programme. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of planning and regulatory requirements within a highly regulated environment. You’ll bring structure, leadership, and clarity across complex workstreams, helping to enable programme success.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, manage and deliver consents, permitting and licensing activities aligned to programme objectives
  • Support delivery of key regulatory frameworks including Development Consent Orders (DCO), TCPAs, Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and Environmental Permits
  • Collaborate across engineering, architecture, operations and logistics teams to ensure timely submissions and compliance
  • Lead delivery and monitoring of consents, permitting and licensing activities
  • Manage project plans, risks, dependencies and reporting (including RAG status updates)
  • Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders including regulators, local authorities and partners
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, cost and quality targets
  • Drive continuous improvement and embed best practice across delivery

Essential skills & experience

  • Experience managing complex engineering or infrastructure projects
  • Strong capability in planning, risk, budget and change management
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced environment
  • Fluency in Czech language
  • Willingness to undertake frequent international travel
  • Experience within nuclear, energy or other highly regulated sectors

Desirable skills

  • Exposure to UK or European consents, permitting or licensing frameworks
  • Familiarity with Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP, Excel, Power BI or similar tools
  • Professional accreditation (e.g. APM PMQ or equivalent)

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Project Management qualification (or equivalent experience)

Flexible and part‑time working options available
Frequent international travel required (including travel to the Czech Republic)

Salary & benefits

  • Pay range: £50,650 - £66,500
  • £2,200 flexible benefits allowance
