Location
Hybrid working with your primary office location being whichever is closest to you: Derby, Warrington, or Manchester.
Salary
£60,000 - £78,750 + £2,200 benefits allowance + 12.5% bonus.

The Procurement & Supply Chain function is key to the successful delivery of Rolls‑Royce SMR.
This role will lead the development and delivery of the Procurement & Supply Chain capability strategy, shaping the future of capability across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of the Procurement & Supply Chain Academy and supporting learning curriculum.
- Develop and maintain capability frameworks, knowledge models, and career pathways that support professional development across all levels of the function.
- Drive the delivery of the Procurement & Supply Chain capability strategy, ensuring alignment with wider business objectives and workforce development plans.
- Develop meaningful capability reporting and performance measures that provide visibility of training effectiveness and organisational readiness.
- Manage apprentice and graduate development programmes, including structured career pathways, coaching and mentoring support.
- Champion continuous improvement across learning, development and capability activities, identifying innovative ways to strengthen organisational performance and employee development.
Qualifications & Experience
- Significant Procurement or Supply Chain experience gained within a complex organisational environment.
- Experience developing competency frameworks, capability models, training programmes, or structured development pathways.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to engage at all levels of a business.
- Experience in coaching, mentoring and developing individuals and teams.
- Passion for learning, development and building high‑performing organisations.
- A relevant degree, professional qualification or equivalent demonstrable industry experience.
- Professional qualifications such as MCIPS, Io SCM or equivalent are advantageous.
