Our Programme Management team plays a critical role in turning strategy into delivery. Working across complex, high-value programmes, the team coordinates people, processes and priorities to ensure successful outcomes, driving collaboration, innovation and performance across the business.
In this context, we are looking for a Project Manager to support the delivery of key projects and work packages across our Programme Directorate, reporting to a Senior Project Manager or Programme Manager. This is a pivotal role that will help shape our future through the successful delivery of complex programmes to time, cost and quality.
We'll need you to:
- Lead the effective delivery of assigned projects and work packages within a wider programme environment
- Coordinate scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk and stakeholder activities to achieve agreed outcomes
- Monitor performance, manage risks and escalate issues where required to maintain delivery momentum
- Drive continuous improvement, applying lessons learned and supporting a positive, collaborative working environment throughout project delivery
As you can see, this is a high-profile role within our Programme Directorate, and you'll bring a collaborative mindset, strong stakeholder engagement skills and a delivery-focused approach, as well as:
- A degree in a relevant discipline, project management qualification (such as APM PMQ) or equivalent demonstrable experience delivering complex projects
- Experience managing complex engineering or technology projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk and change management activities
- The ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, simplify complex topics and facilitate discussions to achieve successful outcomes
- Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies, with familiarity in areas such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, SAP, Power BI or similar platforms
