A global role based in London, Derby, or Bristol, the VP Transformation will drive and enable the delivery of a complex transformation programme, supporting our strategic pillars and mid-term targets across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as ambassador for the Winning Together transformation programme and model performance excellence.
  • Articulate problem statements, identify desired outcomes and deliver on those outcomes with resilience and adaptability.
  • Lead programme and business change activity using change-management methodology and change leadership.
  • Adopt a holistic, One Rolls-Royce mindset, understanding the value chain, value optimisation and “joining the dots.”
  • Co-coach teams to accept constant change, help them achieve transformation goals, resolve conflicts and support work-stream owners to deliver business impact.
  • Drive simplicity and standardisation to deliver operational effectiveness and efficiency through key programmes of work.
  • Performance-manage workstreams to achieve outcomes and regularly communicate with senior stakeholders to deliver transformational performance.
  • Own delivery of specific transformation projects from idea creation to deployment, embedding outcomes in the operating model and mid-term targeting.
  • Collaborate to deliver the One Rolls-Royce operating model, embedding clear accountability, decision rights and interfaces.

Qualifications

  • Presence and credibility, able to operate at senior levels and build/maintain a large number of relationships across varied stakeholder groups.
  • Experience in change leadership, change management and operational execution to deliver sustainable outcomes.
  • Coaching experience to guide teams to successful outcomes and capability development.
  • Successful delivery of complex projects in multiple contexts, functions or businesses.
  • Governance and management experience of transformation/improvement programmes, with ability to lead programme execution against a target roadmap and identify corrective action when needed.
  • Understanding of the business operating model and value generation to support a high-performing, competitive, resilient and growing organization.
  • Commercial acumen and technical knowledge to ask the right questions and solve complex programme challenges.
  • Outcome-driven with good judgement on decision-making and escalation.
