You will also define and manage test facility standards.**What you will be doing:**As a key member of our engineering function, you’ll be responsible for:* Acting as a point of contact within your engineering discipline, sharing subject matter expertise and providing advisory support across the team.* Representing senior departmental staff and coaching others in areas where you hold technical authority.* Managing defined technical packages and investigations, delivering against programme milestones within agreed cost, time, and quality parameters.* Gathering and analysing data from engine testing activities to identify faults and root causes.* Applying engineering judgement to interpret results and develop effective solutions.* Leading the development and continuous improvement of tools, processes, and methods within the engine test facility.* Influencing stakeholders and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to drive change and innovation.**Who we are looking for:**Key Experiences and any Qualifications* A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).* Experience in a relevant domain (preferred but not essential).* Strong knowledge of electrical systems and fault diagnosis.* A curious mindset and a drive to understand why things aren’t working—and how to fix them.* Excellent communication and presentation skills.* Strong organisational and project management abilities.* A collaborative approach and the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.**What we offer:*** Competitive salary* Company pension contributions raising to 12%* 6x life assurance* Excellent benefits including employee assist* Excellent development opportunitiesOur vision is to ensure that the excellence and ingenuity that shaped our history continues into our future.
