An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Business Officer to join our team in the Civil Aerospace Service Business Team, within the Governance & Control team, at Rolls‑Royce in Derby. The Civil Aerospace Service Business Team is responsible for helping drive business performance by providing focused, insightful information that will allow Civil Aerospace to make better decisions and extract value in a cost‑effective manner.
What you will be doing:
- Manage and oversee control activities that enable the Service Business team to accurately produce the financial forecast of our aftermarket contracts through Contract Review Pack’s.
- Provide leadership and governance for the Service Business Process Council, ensuring the regular review and assurance is performed over the processes and tools utilized within the CRP process.
- Provide regular updates to the Service Business team and stakeholders on Process Council status and promptly escalate issues or concerns to the Governance & Control Manager for resolution and support.
- Accountability for the Service Business Spreadsheet Inventory, supporting Internal Control Reviews and adhering to Group Policy Management of the review and approval of 3rd Party Services.
- Provide support for internal and external audit activities as needed, ensuring timely and accurate responses to audit requests.
- Opportunities to support Improvement Hopper Projects across Service Business and gain breadth of knowledge across the engine programme teams and wider CRP process.
