Role Overview
We are seeking an analytical, detail‑oriented and highly collaborative Senior FP&A Manager to join our Group team. This broad, hands‑on role supports the delivery of high‑quality financial information and insight to the Rolls‑Royce Group and contributes to performance management for the wider Group.
Key Accountabilities
- Support in‑year performance management, budgeting, forecasting and longer‑term financial planning cycles for the Group.
- Provide clear financial analysis and insight to articulate performance and identify intervention opportunities.
- Produce written summaries and presentations for reference in executive reports.
- Undertake consolidation, modelling, scenario and sensitivity analysis.
- Drive the quality and integrity of analysis, forecasts, plans and explanations – ensuring robust financial controls, processes and governance frameworks are consistently applied.
- Manage stakeholders by proactively defining and influencing requirements and deliverables.
- Constructively challenge stakeholders to identify performance opportunities, improve insight and drive integrity of submissions.
- Support improvement projects across systems, processes and reporting.
Key Experiences and Qualifications
- Recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
- Experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance leadership position within a manufacturing, engineering or product‑based environment.
- Exposure to international operations or multi‑entity structures is advantageous.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience of group reporting structures, including statutory reporting.
- Hands‑on knowledge of finance systems (Hyperion an advantage).
- Modelling and advanced Excel skills.
- Clear communication of financial information.
- Evidence of partnering collaboratively with a team mindset.
- Organised, flexible and resilient with delivery focus and ability to set requirements under ambiguity.
- Highly analytical with a curious mindset and keen attention to detail.
- Track record of improving financial controls, reports and processes within a growing business.
