Responsibilities
- Accountable to the Director of Infrastructure for project and programme performance in delivery of the Regen infrastructure sub‑programme, meeting the functional scope defined by the sponsoring business.
- Governance and leadership of Heads of Delivery to deliver defined projects and the programme to an agreed schedule.
- Executive interface with tier‑one fissile supply chain partners, and deputise for the Director of Infrastructure on Regen programme‑related matters.
- Commercial accountability for fissile design and delivery partners, negotiating KPIs and ensuring alignment with commercial constructs.
- Senior Leadership Team member, contributing to the development of the DBU approach and change programme.
- Drive supplier performance improvements across delivery, quality, and value for money, while working closely with commercial and procurement teams.
- Ensure effective collaboration with the internal business sponsor, supporting functions, and long‑term delivery partners.
- Lead a combined RR and supply chain integrated team to optimise, enhance, and embed the departmental approach to project and programme management.
- Support Senior Leadership colleagues in developing the Regen infrastructure investment portfolio, ensuring it matches and delivers business and customer needs safely and timely.
- Establish and maintain a clear view of Regen programme health, focusing on performance against budget, schedule, quality and health & safety targets, and identify additional KPIs.
- Ensure performance data capture, visualisation and embedding throughout the programme and its component projects.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert and key influencer within the infrastructure 1st line leadership team.
- Translate requirements into scopes of work and work package sourcing, ensuring execution of the works packages that make up the Regen infrastructure programme.
- Develop and lead a resilient, high‑performance programme delivery team capable of responding to changing demands.
- Ensure governance and assurance oversight of relevant standards and quality requirements, driving adherence to the company’s policies, processes and procedures.
- Support a zero‑harm policy for the Regen infrastructure programme through HSE and external partners.
