We are looking for a Production Operative to join our factory team in Denby. The role is flexible and covers a range of key manufacturing activities.
Responsibilities
- Core moulding (use of hydraulic press)
- Gas furnace operation
- Inspection and repair of ceramic components
- CMM dimensional inspection
- Operation of impregnation plants
- Operation of cut and grind operations (including CNC)
The position requires working two-shift patterns and may involve a reasonable amount of overtime when necessary.
Qualifications
- Ability to work to drawing requirements and written specifications
- Ability to work to visual standards
- Capability to manage time and resources effectively
- Good awareness of HS&E requirements
- Good awareness of the quality system
- Basic IT skills
- Problem-solving skills
