Product Customer Officer (Full time)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Customer Officer to join the Commercial Aviation Value Stream team in Derby.
The team is accountable for profit and loss and delivering financial outcomes for Trent Fleet and Large Mature Engines, with a clear focus on customer satisfaction and ownership of business plans and engineering, operations, and aftermarket assumptions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction, timely information, and a high level of service provided through the Airline Support Teams.
- Support interface and communication with the Airframer (Airbus) and operators using products from the TFM Airbus portfolio.
- Chair regular Customer Advocates meetings to keep the Rolls‑Royce Airlines Support Team well informed and assisted, organising sessions, ensuring effectiveness, and following up promptly.
- Advocate for customer issues within the TFM workstream, ensuring all obligations under agreements are met.
- Enable the effective development and execution of Customer Interface Sessions (Customer Focus Groups – CFG), managing logistics, budgets, and action items.
- Coordinate Support Services Review Meetings with Airbus, CNFs, and CCBs as required.
- Maintain and monitor appropriate KPIs to confirm customer commitments and satisfaction.
- Support improvement processes within the TFM team, such as PWM and APQP when required.
Qualifications
- Excellent collaboration and relationship‑management skills.
- Proven ability to communicate with and influence key stakeholders at multiple organisational levels and across cultures.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to create and implement plans, ensuring effective follow‑up.
- Sound judgement and the capability to create simplicity in complex situations.
- Curiosity and a strong, proven desire to learn and apply new knowledge, especially regarding aftermarket support.
